Eye Water Riddim mixed by Banton

What can I say, this riddim is just beautiful. 25 years old and utterly perfect. You may remember the Don Campbell song called Rise which was a cover from the same song by Gabrielle from the same year (2000) who was gifted sample usage from knocking on heavens door, by Bob Dylan.
To then hear the Peter Hunningale and Freddie McGregor followed by a man I haven’t been in the presence of for many many years, Mr Vivian Jones, is just humbling.
This is real reggae music.

A terrific melody, spitting tops and a rolling bassline, with 7 artists caressing riddim. Heavenly.

This mix was mixed and recorded today 20th May 2025. Shout out to Ambelique, Antonio and Phoebe One. This mix wasn’t work, this mix was a joy.

After leaving school, I started working at a reggae music store and it all went mhad from there. As a result those closest to me say I have a black heart because they know I truly love reggae music to my soul. Bless up to one and all who feel the way I do.
